I tried the place really wanting to give a positive review. It seemed to be the only option in town for some American food. Many reviews tout the prime rib. I ordered the prime rib and cannot agree with the other (mostly older) reviews. I did not have very good prime rib here. I don’t think they seasoned it at all and I got a cut that wasn’t all that desirable in terms of tenderness. Didn’t order a potato because i would have ordered hash downs but another reviewer said they were just a generic brand and not freshly made. Bummer. Had the salad bar, which was very good and fresh. Servers were EXCELLENT and I don’t want to take away from them. people ordering breakfast seemed happy. it would be hard for me to want to give it another try unless I knew they got a new cook. They could really stand to update the decor.

Friendly waitress, very bubbly and outgoing.
Decor does seem to be a little outdated by about 20 years.
As for the food, it wasn't bad at all. Got the omelet, and they load it down. Hashbrowns were a cheap generic brand. Don't know why restaurants still buy pre-made hashbrowns when it is as cheap, if not cheaper, to just shred potatoes. The bagel was delicious, though a little over cooked, but hey, at least they have cream cheese.
I had to drop a star off because of my breakfast this morning. The English muffin was very dense and heavy. On top of that, and this was confirmed by the waitress, the Cook is so lazy that they literally deep-fried 2 orders of sausage links. That's fat cooking fat. It wrinkles and crisps the sausage links. So basically, unless you are wanting to seriously expedite the clogging of your arteries, I suggest you stay away from the sausage links. Upper management or owners need to be made aware of this tragedy and put a stop to it. What's next, deep frying my steak?

Service may be nothing special, but the chicken wings were amazing. Out of dozens of restaurants across the country, this hidden gem creates the best wings. I'd highly recommend combining these two sauces by asking for one in a cup: Kirk's Gold and Buffalo/Classic. This combo creates a mix of honey mustard and buffalo, an amazing combo. The picture is just Kirk's Gold.

Perfect stop for breakfast. Good prices, friendly staff, good breakfast. Pancakes were fluffy, bacon cooked perfectly, the biscuits and gravy were overflowing the plate, which some may prefer, but we did not unfortunately. French toast was spot on though. We were happy we stopped here vs a fast food place down the road.

What I do like about this truck stop is that there is plenty of room for parking and they have showers available. What I don’t like about the restaurant is that the buffet looks old with a limited variety for $11!! It should be $5. The staff is also limited so service sucks with nonchalant attitudes. They don’t write the order down as you tell it to them so you know something’s going to be wrong. Like my eggs, I don’t understand why cooks can’t get over well eggs right?! My yolk was still runny🤦🏾‍♀️ I watched the waitress walk back and forth with my coffee cup empty close to the edge of the table before I asked for a refill. Just a good place to shower and rest in my opinion.
