    I had the ham steak and it was delicious. So big I couldn't finish it. I would have liked more choices for sides. I had the house potatoes, which sounded better than they tasted. Based on the rest of the meal, I can only guess the potatoes were having a bad day.

    My friend had the club sandwich. It looked spectacular!

    Will definitely go back.

    Had the Mel’s Sampler, food was fresh, warm, and tasty! The pancakes are much better than many other chain breakfast destinations. Next door to a Sapp Bros Truck stop, it’s always nice to be able to enjoy a local establishments when working over the road.

    I wanted a steak. It was cooked perfect. My waitress Abie listened to everything I asked for. Best steak special $9.95 ????

    Great Service. Horrible Chili. It taste like it came out a can and cooked in dishwater. Mozzarella sticks were served hot with COLD marinara.

    Mel's potatoes were bland af

    This was the first time ever that I had to spit out pieces of chicken fried steak...it was just inedible.

    Be sure to PAY IN CASH. I read a review saying they'll add their own tip if you pay with a card.

    I've had better. Their service was the only thing that was good...it was great...the food...yuck.
