I ended up giving a 3 star rating because of the overall experience. The burger is a pre-made patty, which is thin and pretty dry. I ended up getting the Frix which is a mixture of all the different french fries (regular, crinkle cut, and waffle), and they were excellent. My son had a malt, and said it was very "malt-y" and not very good. My other son had chicken, and said it was pretty good but a little bland.

I was super excited to go to this place, as I had heard quite a bit about it. I was super excited for a good burger place because I love a good burger! With the name of the restaurant, I anticipated the burgers to be top notch. I expected hand padded juicy burgers. Unfortunately, that was not the case.

I was very happy with the prices though. A burger for $5.99 is not bad at all anymore, so I give them props for that. Also the place is very small. If you eat in, there's not a lot of seating, and the drink station seem to be a hold up the entire time we were there. I would go back again, but my expectations are now different.

You can see the bright yellow and black sign a mile away and it definitely attracts you. Inside was pretty small with a few tables and a long bench type seating area with plenty of outside seating available and tv's outside as well. They have a nice variety of fries in either crinkle cut, waffle, or shoestring and you can get a mix of all three. The burgers are your run of the mill frozen patties and they can definitely use more seasoning as they are somewhat bland. The chicken sandwich was OK, kind of dry due to the breast being very thin. I didn't care for the flavor of their Detour sauce which I would compare to Big Mac suace but with a very different taste. The chicken bites however are big chunks of white meat chicken and seasoned very well along with the delicious ranch. The shakes were awesome as well, probably the best item there. Overall nothing special, just a new restaurant with a big gimmicky sign to draw you in. I probably wouldn't suggest someone to go but also wouldn't tell them to avoid it. Hard to compete in the burger game with Runza, Don and Millies, Culvers, and Freddy's just down the road where you can get a much better burger at any one of them.

    Great place!!
Burger is tops compared to other burger joints around. I loved it, it’s thick, the flavor is awesome. The fries has 3 types and ample amounts.
Definitely a place you need to try. I’ll make this one of my favorites.

The bright yellow arrow-like chevrons caught my eye passing by, so we had to stop in. The outside looks almost like a bank teller drive through, with the double drive through overhangs on both ends of the building. Walking to the entrance, you see they have a nice covered patio eating area with heaters. Entering, the inside is smallish, but new looking contemporary. Service was fast and friendly. I ordered a double cheeseburger combo--burger, fries, drink--and it ended up being like $13 and change, so the price I thought was reasonable. I got the burger "Detour Style", which upon asking what that meant, it simple means they put on the Detour Sauce. When I asked what that was, basically it's Thousand Island dressing. The food itself was pretty good. Not blow you away good, but a solid 7/10. While the burger was tasty, I did regret getting a double cheeseburger instead of a single because it was a heavy burger, and it sat with me the rest of the day. The fries are a mixture of waffle, regular, and crinkle fries, which I thought was neat. They were golden and crispy, if not slightly greasy. Like I said, the bigger was heavy, so I didn't eat much of my fries. Overall, recommend-- it's worth a stop in to try out.

This place was great!! Service was excellent and the place was packed. Plenty of friendly workers ready to help. Portions are generous for the price. We tried each kind of fry and our group liked crinkle cut best. Burgers were
Obviously hand made, juicy and thick. Kids liked their food too. We got a malt to-go and it was so thick and delicious. Great addition to west omaha. We’ll be back!
