A+ Buffet Mongolian Grill

Usually when I go to this buffet it is very good. The staff is attentive. Every other week they advertise in the Omaha World Herald Sunday paper where you can find coupons. They include a free drink in their buffet price. You can get Pepsi products, hot tea or iced tea. If you get the hot tea ask for more than 1 tea bag otherwise you will be drinking hot water. On my last visit I was disappointed to find a chicken bone in the lemon pepper chicken. I brought it to the owners attention and he promptly informed his staff of the incident. What I don't care for is when they replace a new tray of food they mix it with the older food. So get it when it's hot and fresh out of the kitchen. At the Mongolian grill they will grill veggies from the buffet for you. Just be sure to leave a tip for the cook if you can. They appreciate it very much when you do and don't forget to tip your waitress/waiter.

This place is great! We are staying in town for the weekend. They have my favorites: coconut shrimp and peanut chicken. Both are fantastic! I highly recommend it.

I have mixed feelings about A+ Buffet. On one hand, the staff are extremely friendly and I have never gotten bad service. They are always very quick to refill a drink or to get a plate out of the way. On the downside, the food can be hit-or-miss. When it's fresh it's pretty darn good but you take your chances as to how long it's been sitting out. Generally, for the price you pay you do get a lot of decent food. If I could change one thing about A+ Buffet though it would be the ice cream. They currently use a freezer with barrels of ice cream for customers. I've seen so many kids and adults reach their arms and hands in those barrels and it's a reason I won't eat it. Really unsanitary. I wish they would invest in a soft serve machine. If you're looking for a cheap meal that won't break the bank give A+ Buffet a try but just know you're rolling the dice.
