The service is great and the food is delicious! Seriously, whowouldathought you could get freakishly good sushi in the middle of corn country? The top floor is the best. Super chill atmosphere. See that drink? It’s beautiful, I know. But don’t get it. Delicious, but not strong enough for the price.
First time here and we had a great experience. Our server, Nathan, was very sweet and took time to break down the menu and recommend some dishes. We ended up getting some fan favorites and was very surprised at how interesting the sushi and other dishes tasted with different ingredients but it was refreshing to eat food with a spin on it! Very fresh fish, good people, and just great food.
Service was great. Our waiter was very personable and friendly. They can explain how all their fish is sourced. The setting and artwork is delightfully different and entertaining. We were in a section that had couches and low tables for seating, on the second floor. There is also high top and bar seating. Everyone enjoyed their sushi. There are also options for non fish eaters. Special happy hour menu lasts until 8pm.
Amazing food! The service could have been better. We waited for a good 20 minutes before a waitress came to our table. Then once we had placed an order for our drinks that also took about 20 minutes. It was not very busy when we went in. I can’t say enough about the food. It was all very fresh and tasted absolutely delicious. The tea was really delightful as well. The prices are high but worth it for the quality of the food. The restaurant was clean but could have had a better atmosphere. The tables are very tightly packed together. The bathrooms are okay, not very clean but not overly dirty as well. All in all I say great food but the restaurant has room for improvement.
Blue Sushi is a great spot to go to for sushi. The rolls are always well executed and they have some fun, creative offerings. On weekdays they have a lunch offering of two rolls and a salad for a great price. Tip, with the salad get a 50/50 mix of the carrot ginger and wasabi soy dressings. On Sundays they have all day happy hour! I enjoy all of Blue’s Omaha locations but when the weather is nice, I love to sit outside at their Old Market or Legacy locations. One of my favorite rolls is the Hot Popper, give it a try!
