Charleston's Restaurant

The ambiance is pleasant with excellent seating options. The service was attentive without being overly so. The food choices were excellent although some steaks items were a little on the expensive side. Order the potato soup with anything as it is tasty.

This place was nice and quiet at around 4:15 on a Tuesday evening.

I originally chose this place because I was looking for excellent French dip. However when I read their menu and discovered their French dip does not feature a cheese on it, I changed my mind and ordered something else.

I got their loaded potato soup and the grilled pork chops with their creamy mashed potatoes. It was impressed by just how creamy the potatoes were actually. It was blissful.

The chops were tender and flavorful. I wish they would have had some sort of fruit glaze with it. Apple, peach or apricot would have been phenomenal.

I got the house salad instead of the baked beans. It was good with the usual things added. Chopped boiled egg, croutons and cheese. The croissant with it was light and fluffy too. I would have enjoyed some butter with it though.

Great atmosphere and typically great service. In fact, fantastic service at this Charleston's. Waitress was friendly and extremely attentive. But, after eating several times at two different Charleston's, I've yet to find any selection I want to eat again. It's okay, just not quite what I would expect for the price.

Loved this place! Had a vibe of like classy old school but also chill casual. Great food, friendly staff. TV in the bathroom mirror.
