Guaca Maya is a great family atmosphere restaurant. The bar is open weeknights and weekends. The food is great the servers should be a little more personable but they offer prompt service most of the time not always. The prices are average for the meals. The best is the homemade corn tortillas. It is a very traditional and they offer Karaoke nights on Friday evenings.

Huge, beautiful, And they served the MOST delicious tacos past midnight while the dance floor was hosting a live band/DJ!!!

    There for th menudo:

My mom made the best menudo. Occasionally I get a craving for menudo servedon Saturday's maybe Sunday.
From 1-5 I would give it a 3.5 but enjoyable.

The atmosphere was great! The restaurant is on the rustic side but clean. It's a big place with room for a large family or party. The margaritas are good and the buffet is plentiful. You can order off a large menu too. There's a bar, pool table and I think a dance floor.

This restaurant has a huge selection of food. Not that I come here often, but when I do, I usually get one of the parrilladas for two which will have enough food for about 4 people. The corn tortillas are homemade on the spot. They are very good. The restaurant is nicely decorated, but it's a little too dark in there. If you are seated closer to the front it looks nicer than if you are seated in the back where the carpet is very dirty with gum stuck to it everywhere. If you're looking for a nice quiet meal, try to avoid nights where they have parties going on. The music will be too loud for you. The last time I came here in December 2019, I was seated in the back. The heat was on way too hot, making for an uncomfortable experience.

We went at 1130 and there was only a few guest in the main dining area. There seem to be only 1 waiter and three hosts or staff. The buffet looked good so we opted for that. The waiter asked if we wanted tortillas but the didn't arrive until we were almost done with our first plate..they were freshly made though. The place is huge and apparently has dancing in the evening. The buffet was good, some items seemed like the were out to long..carnitas were dry. The pork in tomatillo sauce was very good and so was the chicken mole. May have better luck with made to order dishes, but overall was good. This would be a good place for a large group lunch.
