The coconut rice is wonderful, as is the walnut shrimp. Some dishes, such as the chili lamb, can run very spicy. Fabulous taste.
We enjoyed our supper from this restaurant. The server was very nice and courteous! Highly recommend trying this restaurant.
Incredible food! Never had Burmese food before - I ordered the beef stew lunch combo. It came with the tea leaf salad, samosa soup, and coconut rice. Everything was flavorful and fresh. My friend had the fiery shrimp and that was delicious too. A welcome and unique addition to the omaha dining scene. Service was a bit slow, but I didn’t mind because the food was worth the wait. Will definitely be back!
We were blown away by the extremely flavorful dishes. The selection is fairly broad and comes from a region that is extremely under-represented in "Asian" restaurants. Some of the spices are slightly reminiscent of Middle Eastern fare, while others are rooted in Thai cuisine.
They offer jasmine rice or coconut rice with most dishes. The slightly sweet coconut rice is a great relief if you select the higher spice levels.
The dishes didn't need any doctoring up with additional sauces, and they are so confident in their flavors that they don't even have soy sauce on every table.
Portions were almost too generous, and we could have easily shared just one entree and appetizer.
Amazing Burmese/Thai food prepared by Karen immigrants. The coconut rice is a must have, the firey lamb is so delicious, and the presentation is beautiful. I will recommend this place to anyone!
