We've eaten here several times, 108th and L location. Consistently great service, good food, and prices fair. Pulled pork is some of the best I've had. Brisket good, but short of great. Sides good also, but also short of great. Nice inside too. Wonderful menu. I'm a long time eater of BBQ, make my own, was a certified BBQ judge. Eaten BBQ from sea to shining sea. In Omaha its very hard to find a true 5 star BBQ restaurant, but Hog Wild is about as close as you can to a 5 without being a 5. Tweak the brisket and burnt ends a bit, add one or two creative sides and you are there. Taking everything into consideration, Hog Wild is recommended and one of the best in Omaha.
The meat was delicious; I had the shredded beef brisket. And the baked beans were great, too. The "Potato Skins" could have been better. They weren't really anything like potato skins as I've known them elsewhere. They were actually more like very large potato wedges sprinkled on top with cheese and some bacon bits. Those were somewhat disappointing, but the rest of the food made up for it.
The food was better than expected. Went about 6pm. No wait and food was ready in less than 5 mins.
Pretty good, I had the ribs and fries. My buddy gets the brisket. Service good, restaurant clean. You can also drive through. I also feel prices are fair for what you get.
Bbq is lower on my list of favorites, but I will go back again someday soon.
