Salween Thai Restaurant

Used online ordering and was ready in about 30 minutes. Super friendly staff. Ordered appetizer sampler and we enjoyed all of them. Ordered three meals - Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles and Pad See Yew. Everyone enjoyed their dish. The prices are quite reasonable. I will go back.

This place is very inexpensive and definitely rivals the best Thai out there like Mai Thai.

I ordered the egg rolls - comes with 4 and a chili sauce. Nice and crispy! Then I got the drunken noodles with beef and a Thai Iced Tea. I like things spicy, so I got a 9. I was warned that this place makes things spicier than others, but I felt it was the perfect amount. And the tea? Sweeter than other Thai teas I've had, but still with that nice smoky, creamy taste.

The place was busy on a Friday night so the waiter forgot my tea at first and there was a bit of a delay bringing one of my groups' dishes. We didn't mind much, we were there to socialize. He also didn't speak English so well - he didn't know what a Root Beer was and had to ask if they had it, even though it was on the menu. The service was definitely not a deal breaker though; it was sort of charming and the food made up for it.

In short, I like this place a lot and you will too. Definitely a must-try top Omaha restaurant, like all the articles say.

Really enjoyed the food. Multiple offerings and a vast menu. The food was perfect with some great spice and timed right. Service was a bit slow dinner took over 2 hours. Sadly there is no beer bar or any Cocktails offered. Great food. They had tons of food delivery orders that passed out table frequently but our service was sloooow and took forever. A simple dinner took 2 hours to get. 45 minutes from appetizers until our meals came.. prepare for a long experience but knowing that it is worth it.

I was taken here by my Daughter that had eaten here before. The food was very good, and the value was spit on for everything but one appetizer we ordered. I would give the over all food 5 stars, but I must only give the over all experience only a 4 star. The server was very inattentive and almost acted like he didn't want to be there. I will go back another time and give them a second chance. At Over $20 a person, plus tip, I'd like to feel welcomed and be engaged a bit.
