My husband and I were visiting family and wanted to try something new. When I say it all was delicious mmm mmm...my kids loved the meat loaf and potatoes my parents had the fish meals my husband and I had the chicken and everything was so good seasoned very good not overly salty yams wasn't too sweet it was just perfect. Cornbread was delicious and to add a cherry on top the sides was made without pork products 😋. They earned the 5 stars just for that. Restaurant was clean smelled good nice atmosphere..We pray they continue to grow and prosper. 💖

The food is always excellent! This restaurant is a gem in the heart of North Omaha. From the catfish to the cornbread, greens, and fried chicken… it’s always on point and very dependable when we need food for meetings or want to treat our staff. And let’s not forget my favorite, the stuffed salmon you had last week for Mother’s Day! Thank you for bringing consistently high quality food to our community.

Absolutely delicious and well seasoned food, and the sides were phenomenal. The host/owner was more than happy to explain how the prices and plates work along with the specials of the day. I will be back with more friends to try the catfish.

I'm from the south and this food is absolutely south and full of flavor and delicious. My husband had fried chicken, cooked cabbage and rice, I had the smothers chops sukatash and dressing. Very fresh food. Chicken so tasty full of flavor and juicy, smother chop so tender didn't need a knife to cut. Just amazing food. Well worth the price. Speaking of price very economical

Full five stars! Wow!!! so blown away by this place, the employees and the food. Everything was amazing literally perfect. We'll be back can't wait to try more we had chicken croquette that was top shelf, mashed potatoes, gravy, beans, rice and cornbread just beautiful. They made the restaurant very cozy and homey its very nice inside! Parking on the side off of Ames easy to find and worth every penny!
