“Had 3 taco special with rice and beans. I had the carne asada tacos. They were the authentic street style tacos and were delicious. I also had a horchata beverage that was really good. They serve food out of a colorful trailer.”

“Good food in a cool speakeasy vibe downtown location. We stopped in while traveling through Nebraska, looking for a good non-chain dinner. Service was prompt and attentive. Very quick on the refills. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender. Good BBQ sauce, not too sweet or overpowering. Good balance. My son and I inhaled these. The BBQ beans were excellent, sweet with pulled pork in them. Definitely worth getting. I also had the hashbrown casserole. It was a bit mushy, cheesy. My wife didn't like it, I thought it was fine. It reminded me of a potluck side dish. Dunno if this is a Nebraska thing, but I thought it was worth the try. The onion rings were great. Nothing unique, but well cooked, hot and tasty. The pulled pork sandwich was a bit overcooked. Softer than we prefer. I'd try something different next time. They had what looked like a good selection of microbrews. I tried the homemade root beer. It was good, and free refills - bonus! Would I recommend? Absolutely.”

“It'd been many years since I'd dined out at a Long John Silvers. Growing up in central Indiana in the 60s and 70s my family would eat at the local Long John Silvers nearly once a week. For nostalgic purposes I had a late lunch there not long ago. For starters, I was rather shocked over the prices, many of the simple, basic meals are priced between $7 and $8... and it was precisely the same over-greasy fish products we used to relish back when growing up in the midwest but now tend to have grown into a quest for healthier fare to put into one's body for better nourishment. Tastes pretty good, albeit rather expensive and the same old stuff for decades and decades now. That should hold me another 30 years.”

“My husband and I tried this out for the first time a few days ago and ordered their pizza and their cheese sticks as an appetizer. The pizza was good- reminded me a lot of Casey's. The cheese sticks were very good. The staff were quick to refill drinks, but he didn't really talk at all to us and was silent. It made us feel a bit awkward whenever he would just come to our table and just grab our glasses to refill. For being more like bar food, we thought it was a little pricey.”

“Top shelf, one of the best of the best... and I've been to many of these homey eateries in over half of the lower 48. Coffee and pie for a discount special starting at 2 p.m. and running until 5 p.m. ... and the Blueberry is one pie that Tommy literally spent years perfecting. Great breakfasts as well as outstanding fried chicken and much more. Always a daily special with lots of friendly service no matter which attendant waits on you. Alas, no longer is Tommy's a 24 hour operation, open from 6am-10pm these days. Long live such quality family restaurants!”

“Oh my sweet heavens! Where have these nachos been all my life? The chips are so perfectly crisp, the tomatoes so fresh, the asada is absolutely flavorful, and this fresh burst of cilantro! Oh so perfect!!! Such a cute little restaurant; I will definitely dine-in sometime soon! The employees were friendly and the prices are a steal! Hands down The Best Nachos in GI! In the future I might ask them if they can put the toppings on the side if I take them to go so the chips don’t get soggy. Perfect! Absolutely Perfect!”

“Great place for food AND beer! Top of the line equipment, great selection of craft and domestic beer. Friendly staff and awesome food + outdoor seating. They have a really cool lounge area with self pouring wine and whiskey taps. The location doesn't suggest how cool this place is but I would 100% recommend.”

“Very good authentic food. Staff was very friendly and our orders were prepared hot and fresh! We ordered carne asada platter, a smothered beef burrito with salsa verde, enchiladas platter, and a cheese quesadilla. Followed that up with a large order of menudo. Awesomeness! Keep up the great work!”
