Friendliest staff and amazing friend ice cream ♡
SERIOUSLY LOVING THE NEW STREET TACOS!!
My wife and I eat here every few weeks. The food is consistently good, the wait time is short, the staff are friendly and helpful. Not sure if it's authentic Mexican food, but everything I've tried, I've liked. Real friendly folks, they work hard to give value for the money.
Love Jalisco! The La Prima chicken is AMAZING. They have the best cheese dip too!
Great food & service!
Great little restaurant in the downtown square. The decor is a bit lacking in creating an enjoyable atmosphere, as well as the chairs looked to be uncomfortably basic. However we were able to seat ourselves and snag a booth and the booths while looking worn were in fact still pleasantly cozy and comfy. Plus the large windows overlooking the courthouse square is a great asset. Parking is amazingly ample! Even if you need to walk a few blocks the streets are really walking friendly!
They hand out complementary chips and salsa. The chips were a bit to grease and oily yet still an enjoyable snack. The salsa was a bit bland and really watery which wasn’t to bad only because the service was super fast! The dinner food tasted great! The Hawaii fajita was really filling and tasted great. Everything was cooked good and tasted yummy. The ice burg lettuce did look a bit bland and the tomato just looked sad, and much less red than a tomato should have looked. I was a touch disappointed there wasn’t any unique signature sauces or strong flavors that would make this restaurant standout. However at the same time the focus on sticking to the actual flavors of the food was in fact very refreshing! I could picture myself spending a weekly visit to Jalisco’s the food is just good tasting food without all the crazy sauces.
Oh and desert, the cheesecake ice cream was amazing! I would highly recommend trying it yourself, the fried ice cream not so much imagine an ice cream sandwich with slices of bread if that sounds interesting enough then perhaps it’s up your alley.
Overall great little restaurant that if your in town I would highly recommend stopping In for lunch or a nice quick dinner. Don’t forget to get the cheesecake desert and you can thank me later!
