Casa Bovina

I can’t believe Lincoln has this place. By far the best fine dining in Lincoln, if not all of Nebraska. I had the Nebraska steak and it was perfect. The duck confit gnocchi was incredible for an appetizer and the local honey semifreddo was a perfect light dessert. And finally someone knows how to make a real whiskey sour using an egg white. Can’t wait to go back.

We went there for our anniversary dinner and had the beef tasting menu with a couple cocktails. The atmosphere was quaint and very inviting. Our meals consisted of 7 courses all centering around the beef theme, all of which were worth the price of admission.

Lincoln is extremely fortunate to have a restaurant of this caliber. Maybe it will encourage more people to break the “chain mentality” this city seems to suffer from.

We had the most delightful culinary experience at Casa Bovina. We celebrated my sister-in-laws birthday and were a large party of 8. We had the tasting menu and every single course was impeccably executed. The server and sommelier were attentive and knowledgeable. The dinner had the perfect cadence.

Had the pleasure of an exquisite dining experience tonight at Casa Bovina. An amuse bouche followed by a 7 course tasting menu, prepared by an elite class of chefs and serving staff that is second to none.

Rather than just eating a great meal, it was more like enjoying an orchestra playing a beautiful symphony of great flavors and foods. Hard to explain or share what it’s like to enjoy or experience it, but hopefully these photos can help do it some justice.
