Fleetwood Haymarket

The short answer: AVOID STEAK HERE!
Our server was great. The atmosphere is nice, comfortable and upscale without being pretentious. Drinks and appetizers were good, and although I spilled my wife's drink ten seconds after it arrived (trying to pass apps), things were off to an awesome start. Three of the eight at our table ordered steak. All three had zero seasoning. They were cooked to a perfect med rare, but had no flavor. Wagyu sirloin, was tough, and served with the worst asparagus I've ever seen. Woody base still on (no prep) and extremely anemic edible portion. Yes, it's winter, and asparagus isn't exactly in season....no excuse. You should change the garnish if this is all that's available! For the price, they should be ashamed of those steaks! Other dishes at the table were reportedly good. I would only go back for apps and drinks.

This is our 2nd time here. The first time we had their ceviche which was amazing. (Seasonal)
Tonight we had the same drink we had the first time because they are soooo good. They have house injured jalapeño tequila with fresh strawberry syrup in my margarita and very well made old fashion.

Tonight we had the 802 burger and the ribeye. The burger was juicy and good… a bit small though. The steak has a lot of fat in it so not a $40 value. We also had the deviled eggs, there were only 4 and they were very basic for $15. The steak bites were really good and tender.

Our server was Awesome. We sat outside for dinner and it was a beautiful evening. Food was delicious and worth the value. Drinks were flowing and very good as well. I had a salad with tuna. My cousin had a cheeseburger with fries. Looking forward to trying something else on the next visit.

The newest addition to Lincoln’s restaurants, is going to make waves. Although hidden away from the Main Street of the Haymarket, this place outshines all of its competitors. Lincoln desperately needed another brunch spot, and Fleetwood answered the call.

First of all, the prices you are paying for the quality of food you get is insanely good. I’ve been to some of the best restaurants in the country, and had tickets at ridiculous numbers, and this food could stand up at a fraction of a fraction of the cost.

The food was absolutely amazing. I personally got the steak and eggs. Most places give breakfast a cheap cut and don’t take the time to properly cook a good brunch steak. Fleetwood gave me a premium cut, cooked it to perfection (better than some nationally acclaimed steak houses I’ve visited who have served me wagyu cuts).

My friends each got different menu options, and each option was as good as the next. I’m excited to come back and try their dinner menu, because this will undoubtedly become one of my most frequent dining establishments.

In review, if you’re looking for a wonderful brunch experience, Fleetwood is a MUST.
