Hi-Way Diner

Everytime I travel to Nebraska, I have to stop in and have the Chicken fried steak breakfast. They have the best food and staff is so friendly. The place is clean and reasonably priced. You want down home cooking, then this is your place. Way to go guys n gals!!

Lincoln's not-so-hidden secret classic. Home style, old fashioned diner food done simply and fantastically. Their all-day breakfast menu is superb; get the French toast. Normally open 24/7 and one of the few open late, making it an oasis for those on the road or burning the midnight oil.

Pretty standard diner fare. They need to expand the selection of hot sauce. Frozen hash browns instead of fresh pushed me to give a 3 star rating.

It's a Diner and a fine one at it. Breakfast is my favorite of the day. served all day. Order at the "Order Here" sign. Order and pay one deal. Grab your drink, napkin and what it takes to cut it and get it to your mouth, fork, knife, spoon. First , second, or more times I read the menu I end up with two over easy, crisp bacon and crunchy hash browns. I don't know what " The Magic Toast" is but a sign said "don't ask". I took wheat. The coffee flow until you give up. The bathrooms are clean okay for the age of the building.

From Pennsylvania, ate at Hi Way Diner July 2019. Charmed, genuine diner setting, friendly server, and tender hot beef sandwich. Bacon in the homemade mashed potatoes, delicious! Hubby enjoyed fresh, tasty buffalo chicken wrap. We ate at their outdoor tables, to enjoy --full-on-- an experience at the Hi Way Diner! Would definately come here again, our next visit to this area.
