Koen Japanese BBQ & Sushi

We have been going to Koen since it first opened and were not even open every day yet. The staff is phenomenal and food is terrific. Enough food to make it well worth the price. Keep it up and we will continue to eat there and enjoy such a wonderful experience.

Koen Japanese BBQ is truly a unique experience.
The meats are tender & very well marinated for Awesome flavor. They have a large selection of cooked and raw sushi and sushi rolls.
Sunday's are happy hour ALL DAY, and you will LOVE the deserts. They have a knowledgeable staff and very clean high end layout for dining and nice bars. You will be happy you went.
FYI, the lava cake is a five spice traditional that is out of this world.
New FAVE place for fun indoor grilling and AWESOME appetizers.
Gotta have the Crispy Rice withTuna, avocado and caviar. Also LOVE their take on jalapeno poppers, sliced, and prep's like nothing you've had before.

Hands down the best sushi in Lincoln. I did not expect to find this quality of sushi in Nebraska. The sushi here is on par with high quality sushi in larger cities. The grill food was also very good. My only complaint was that the gochujang was too sweet.

This is a 5-star restaurant. I dine here for world-class sushi and can't believe it is here in Lincoln Nebraska! Koen, Kinja & Shogun have the best cuisine! The rest of the sushi restaurants in Lincoln cannot compare. If you have kids, Shogun is the best choice! If you want the best Sashimi & Sushi Koen is exceptional!
