I don’t write reviews very often, but Lazlo’s deserves one here. My wife and I just had a baby and have been self-quarantining. We decided to get delivery from Lazlo’s and the experience was top-notch. Whoever we spoke to on the phone to take our order when above and beyond to make sure our allergy needs were considered (my wife has celiacs). Our food came in under 30 minutes (what?!). It was warm and fantastic. Also, the salad came with croutons on it. When we called about this, they just sent another one right away! Who does that?! This review not only reflects the quality of the food we received, but the superb customer service. Consider getting delivery from Lazlo’s to make things a little bit easier on yourself if you need it.
I had a half order of onion rings and they were massive. Still way too much for one person (each ring was about an inch or so thick). I was surprised that the honey mustard sauce cost extra though... For my entree I had the northern walleye. There were quite a few bones can't ding them too hard on it because that also happens when I fillet them myself.
Very friendly staff and good food. This restaurant offers beer tasting for free. 3 kinds of their beer on tap for free. Awesome! Regarding food, spinach and artichoke dip was good but definitely big enough for 3-4 people. We got fillet mignon and walleye for main course. Fillet was nice and thick but perfect medium rare. Delicious. I liked walleye, too. At the end, we were full and satisfied.
Three of us ate lunch here. The food and service were excellent. I sampled 3 beers from the seasonal specials. All were really good. I chose the Chaco Canyon. It went well with the Lavish flat bread. The dining room is nicer and cleaner than the bar area. No surprise for a college town brewery.
Great beers with excellent attenuation. Food was good and fresh. Service friendly. They were extremely busy on a Saturday night. We would come back again. Tried a seasonal Pitched Black & Blueberry Ale which was unusually good. Three small samplers for free to see if you like what you are drinking. How can you go wrong? Nice bar too.
