Arrived on a Saturday night without a call ahead. Given a 75 minute seating window & 30 minutes our party of 5 seated with drinks in our hand. Bartender in lounge very quick & friendly. Highly recommend the Casablanca chicken (touch of curry) on a bed of veggies. Very healthy.
As usual the beer was very good. Empyrean isn't my favorite local beer in Lincoln, but it's always very consistent and I know what to expect. This next part (concerning the food) is solely opinion so please take it as that. I ordered a burger, which was good, but any backyard grill owner could make. The fries could have been fried a little longer but were saved by the seasoning, which is delicious! The server was very short with us and acted like everything else on the planet was more important than us. Which I would understand if he had to do everything for us, but he took our order and refilled our drinks. Someone else ran our food, which is very common, but his attitude would have shown otherwise. Overall I give a solid 3. I will definitely go back, but mostly for the beer and the excellent bartenders! Those two standouts never disappoint! We were a party of 5 on a Friday night at 7:00 pm.
This was my first time here. The menu has a good assortment of foods and beverages to choose from so most people should find something they will enjoy. I had a long island tea and the salmon, ceasar salad, and baked sweet potatoe fries. My meal was very good, the service was good. I will visit the next time I am in town. Thank you.
I live in Reno, NV now but when I’m going through Lincoln, NE I always (and I mean always) stop at Laslo’s for a widow maker burger and a key lime pie. That alone would be worth traveling 1400 miles for. I think it is the best Key Lime pie in the world!
