The Mill Coffee & Bistro

Very friendly and nice staff. Great drinks (coffee, beers, mixed drinks, wines) and some decent snacks. One of my favorite places in Lincoln.

Classy place! You can buy artisan coffee beans by weight here, and they've got a bean option from most major coffee countries. If you want even more variety, go to The Mill at the Haymarket. At both branches, they'll grind the beans for you, if you want, or bag them whole for freshness. It's cheaper then ordering online, and you can buy in smaller quantities if you like sampling various varietals.

Such a beautiful space, so neatly integrated with Innovation campus. Always love having coffee here, the hibiscus cooler with lavender syrup was a thing of beauty. My soup was awesome too! The whole fam had a nice relaxed hang out and converse time.

Great coffee shop to work or meet up with friends. They have assorted coffee drinks, pastries, some selection of deli-style foods (though this isn't as consistently in stock I've found), and spirits/beer/wine available. Best part about this location is there is a Mother's Room on the second floor of the building, which is really convenient. The outdoor patio seating is excellent, although quite frequently there are people smoking out there. All of UNL campuses are supposed to be smoke free but they don't seem to enforce that at this location.

Positives:

Negatives:
1. Frequently smokers on the patio or right in front of the doors so you have to sit near or walk through a cloud of smoke.
2. Actual food selection is mostly out of a refrigerated deli-case and they might not always have things in stock. So potentially plan on going elsewhere if you're looking for a more solid meal.
