I love the food here and the "small town" atmosphere. I have only eaten breakfast here. The waitresses call some people by name, just like I remember as a child when my parents would take me to eat at the local small town cafe on Sunday. They have their "regulars". I also like their multiple choices of toast including rye, and I believe I had dark rye one time as well.
This is not an all new bright and fancy just remodeled cafe, but, when you walk in on a cold winter morning, you will feel warm, cozy and like you are visiting family with a good home cooked breakfast waiting for or you.
Remember those "hole-in-the-wall" restaurants you would stop at during a long road trip that actually has great food? Well... Let me tell you something. This is definitely one of those places with great food. It's a lot like home cooked meals with plenty of food on your plate. Never left dissatisfied.
Simply amazing!! I moved here recently from out of state and any time I asked locals here for a good breakfast spot, Virginia's would always be mentioned. I decided to finally give it a try around the 5 AM hour, and it was perfect! Wonderful service, DELICIOUS food, and a nice, comfy atmosphere!
The chef clearly knows what they're doing and is SUPER fast in delivering delicious Americana dishes. Servers here are on their A game even at 5 in the morning, super efficient and kind as can be! You can tell the staff here genuinely cares for their patrons, and the pricing is super modest, so you can really add on to your breakfast without breaking the bank.
The atmosphere here is cozy, cute, and casual, with a nice vintage flair. Genuinely everything you'd want in a comfy diner/cafe, I'll be coming here a lot more often!
Sausage & cheese omelete, hash browns w/sausage gravy. Was cooked perfectly. Was very busy that morning, but handled the extra adding of the sausage gravy on the hash browns. To somebody new in might look like a house of chaos but to the regular it's just another great breakfast at Virginia's. Thank you.
