Whispering Pines Bed & Breakfast

Simply an amazing experience my first time at a B&B with my girlfriend for a weekend away. Not only was Jeanne helpful and friendly she also called my better half to tell her about the surprise weekend. On top of everything everyone in nebraska city had been soo nice and welcoming!! We will be back!

The positive reviewers on Whispering Pines are fair and accurate. Most of them are better writers than I. May I add that we felt welcome and valued. Jeanna is an accomplished chief, and she knows her wines. Arrange for a meal or two if you can. I am a fan and I will be back.

We rented Whispering Pines for a weekend retreat. Jeanna was an incredibly gracious host, making sure that we always had what we needed and adding little thoughtful touches that we didn't even ask for. Everything was clean and comfortable and the only thing i wish was that it was warmer so we could have enjoyed her garden more - which was utterly beautiful. Thanks Jeanna!

This place just got it right. The rooms are nicely done. They are better than advertised. She's a very gracious hostess. The grounds are peaceful, and the city has plenty of nice tourist options. Breakfast is good, too. We're planning on returning for our next getaway, first option.

I was in town for a family wedding and got to stay here for several nights, and I enjoyed it so much!! The food is unbelievable! And the woman that owns the place is sweet as sugar! I'm from Texas so feeling welcome and at home is something very important and she definitely does that for you! I'd highly recommend this place as the perfect get away!
