Lansky's Pizza, Pasta & Philly Steaks

This was going to be a 2 star review, upon initially ordering. Not being sure what the pricing is, and not having any way to see a running total of what I'm ordering, due to the "hipster" style cash register setup with no screen that the customer can see, led to a nearly 70 dollar lunch for 3 people. We had a big line behind us waiting to order, so asking questions or changing the order would have been a real faux pas in that situation.

Everything went better from there, however. The food was cooked quickly, the staff were genuinely nice and fast, and I gotta be honest, while I wasn't looking to pay 70 dollars our lunches, the food was exceptional and absolutely worth the cost. We had the french dip sandwich with a large order of onion rings, the butcher pizza, and alfredo penne pasta with chicken.

Advice I would give them: please put the pricing on the overhead posters, explain that the sandwiches (apparently) don't come with any french fries/onion rings, get a traditional cash register where a person can see what they are paying for. Food and service are phenomenal however, don't change that at all. I usually don't do take home boxes but we did today, not going to waste our lunch if we can enjoy the leftovers later!

Nice assortment of menu choices. I had the spaghetti and meatballs. Very good.

Good calzone & onion rings. My wife had a chicken Philly which she liked. Recently opened so still a little rough around the edges, especially the call ahead take out it seemed.

This is our first time trying Lansky’s. We had takeout and were pleasantly surprised! We did have to wait 10 minutes longer but our food was fresh and hot. Our salads were fresh and very good. The French fries were wonderful! We are impressed by the food, the value and will return!

Have only done take-out, but it was a great experience. Order was ready on-time and the separate area for take-out is VERY convenient. The food was also great! Didn't even pick one of their fancier choices; just the King Pepperoni pizza and it did NOT disappoint! Will be back to try more.
