“Los Mezcales is definitely a must stop in Fremont. Our bartender/server was great with wonderful customer service, great suggestions, and super friendly. He was the only server in the restaurant on Tuesday, so service was a tad slow. The Tacos Dorados De Chorizo was wonderful with a lovely presentation. Loved the green salsa pairing. It had the right amount of kick and amazing flavor. My husband and son loved their chicken burritos (I stole their guacamole, and it was fantastic), and my Quesabirrias was the BEST I've had. I was beginning to think I didn't particularly like birria tacos until I had them here, and the consomé was perfection. Not only a must try, but Los Mezcales is a repeat.”

“Stopped in for lunch with a co-worker. Quaint little place with a retro, yet small town feel to it. Service was quick and our server was friendly. Typically the lunch special is a one toppping sliced pizza but they allowed us to get a single slice of one of their specialty pizzas. The size we got was a bit smaller than I was anticipating but still decently sized. It was delicious! Either way. If you're in the area and in the mood for pizza, definitely stop in!”

“A diamond in the rough!! We came out to Fremont for a couple soccer games and wanted to grab lunch in between games. We had a large group and were worried about finding a place where we could fit everyone. We came across this place and it had good reviews on other platforms, so we figured, what the hell...why not?! We came in here and the waitress was extremely helpful and trying to figure out how to get us all seated and finding the best way to get us in and out as quickly as possible. The food...holy smokes! Amazing! There were two cooks in the back getting crazy trying to keep up with us and they absolutely killed it!! The street tacos in the picture were asada and Al pastor, and they were outstanding. Other people got all kinds of different items and all of them looked great, with each person saying the same thing. And the wings...top tier for all of Omaha even! Trax is hard to beat, but these were definitely worth going back to. If you ever find yourself in this area, please do yourself a favor and stop by here! I promise it will be well worth your time.”

“Great service. The girl with the blue hair was awesome. The burgers are very expensive for the price. Omaha Cheeseburgers gives you two patties as a massive Big Mac-style burger for $9.50. My $11 burger from Hyde's Slides was a lot of bun and topping, but a tiny 1/4 (before cooking) patty, and it was okay, but not amazing. Under seasoned, too. Either reduce your prices or increase the beef. Wing sauce was better than the chicken. That being said, the mac and cheese fries with steak were great.”

“First time ever going to Bushwackers, it’s a large building with multiple bars. It seemed to target the college audience. You have your choice of pool tables, arcade games, mechanical bull riding and a large dance floor where they teach you how to line dance. They offer different themed nights and live bands. “Went because my son-in-law wanted to eat here for a birthday dinner. Was not disappointed at all with the greeting, service, atmosphere or the food. Not being biased, but I was with a group of 7 and all were family; which I know added to a good time; but if something was “eh”about anything about the restaurant, I would not hesitate to say so. It had very a beautiful and lively atmosphere and you could see that they are very proud of their heritage, which is awesome! From the homemade chips, fresh guacamole and 3 levels of heat for salsa was only the beginning! Wish I could remember the names of the food that was ordered, so I will have to let the pictures speak for themselves! Would recommend this place to all that love authentic Mexican cuisine!”

Immediately I was not impressed. I ended up ordering chicken that came in a bowl for $23 and a drink which was definitely not worth the price. Overall, the atmosphere is amazing but the service and food left a lot to be desired and definitely not worth a $40 tab at the end of the day. Wouldn’t recommend as a place to stop as your money gets much better flavor & service elsewhere.”

If you have been here before, the machete was noticeably smaller, the salsa is significantly thinner and less tasty. Still a great buy, but not as good as it used to be.”
