Firehouse Subs

I wish there was one in Reno.

Now that the other sandwich place that "toasts" their sandwiches is all but gone the way of the dinosaurs Firehouse Subs, is my new favorite toasted sandwich place. Their sandwiches are really tasty & their service is good.
I've only been there a few times as I don't got to Carson City very often,so I've only had 3 of their sandwiches. All were good but of the ones I tried the meatball was my least favorite.

The location was clean
The staff was friendly and efficient.
The sandwich tasted good. However, I felt that the $$ I was charged for my meal did not feel like a good value.
The fact that a percentage of my purchase goes to local fire departments is what sets this place apart.

My first visit to Firehouse Subs I was grabbing lunch for some volunteers. To save time I decided to phone in the order. My call was answered quickly by a polite and efficient young lady who took my order accurately and suggested complimentary items. When I arrived the place was packed and Firehouse had ample staff to handle it. My order was ready and I was in and out in just a few minutes. The sandwiches where hot and fresh. The portions are generous, staff is helpful and courteous, and the facility is clean and well kept with a relaxing dinning area for those who want to eat in. Bottom Line: Fire house delivers a delicious sandwich with generous portions of whatever you order quickly prepared by a polite, friendly staff. I'll be back.

Excellent sandwiches. Subway should just close it's doors. These are a little pricey, but well worth it. They are very good sandwiches!

I absolutely love their sandwiches! Their Mac & cheese is fantastic too. A bit on the pricy side, but oh so good! I always get the club on a sub and it never disappoints. They flubbed on my Husband's sandwich once by only putting meat & cheese, not sure why, but I guess it happens anywhere from time to time. He was so hungry we didn't bother returning it. Other than that it's a great place, friendly service & some of the best sandwiches.
