Middlegate Station

Heard about this via a friend and stopped by as we were travelling Route 50. We'd been on the road for hours since we left Ely, and it seemed like a good lunch spot. We were not disappointed!

I ordered the sourdough melt and fries. Both were outstanding and VERY reasonably priced. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful even as they were getting slammed by the lunch rush, and service was very quick. Very highly recommend stopping here if you're going down Route 50!

No trip along Highway 50 would be complete without dropping into Middlegate Station for a Monster Burger. Be aware though that one of those will definitely feed two adults! The staff are friendly and so hard working, and you’ll sometimes find live music going on. Love all the naval pilot memorabilia and the wall of shoulder patches.

This place is incredible. The Middlegate Monster is a genuinely good burger and the atmosphere of this restaurant is awesome. So glad we stopped there. One of Nevada’s hidden gems.

Such a unique, historic place, Middlegate Station is charming! Offering both a full bar and excellent food, Middlegate is worth the drive to find. The Buffalo Wing Tatertots are highly recommended! If you are traveling on the 50, arrange your journey so you can make a stop here!

Incredible stop worth making along lonely 50. The owners are incredibly kind and accommodating, even allowing free overnight RV camping. Make sure you eat and drink while you're here; food is above average and prices are cheap! Hats are only ten bucks so grab one of those, too. Definitely a one of a kind not to be missed.
