Classic place. Great stop after cut through desert to avoid I15 traffic, or to wait out some traffic. Lots of UTV folks from Vegas over weekends. Staff always nice, bartender great guy. Owner seems to be pushing mainstream more and more, starting to lose it's original charm, but understood. BBQ is very good. Characters abound.
We went to the Saloon because of its appearance in Fallout New Vegas and had a great time! The food and staff were spectacular and all the Fallout items in the General store were fantastic. We did find out however that if you Uber out there no one (not even taxi services) will come get you and we found ourselves stranded. The bar manager was nice enough to drive us all the way back to the strip and was extremely polite the entire time. It was overall a fantastic experience and we hope to return again, this time in a rented car!
Wow! Serious good time at pioneer saloon. Highly recommend you visiting while a band is playing. Staff is all friendly from entry to leaving. Highly attentive asking us if they could get us anything. My wife declared (highly unusual I may add) the ghost Burger (we split a half pound with pepper jack cheese) is one of the best burgers she's ever had. The place is rustic by design and the patrons diverse all adding to the character of this gem in the desert. It's a high recommend form me and you can guarantee I will be back!
I'm a mail carrier so I am always on the go and on the lookout for new places to discover. Stopped in here after a doctor's visit and dad the steak, which left me quite well fed. Our Server was Pete - he was real easy going with a dynamite personality. Seemed to have an endless supply of stores to tell while I waited on my food. The food was pretty good, not the tops but definitely better than a hole in the head.
Visited quite a few months ago. A very neat place to visit and have a few drinks and view history. I love that they tried to keep it original. Iv already been twice. We live about 4 hrs away. Won't mind at all to go for a drive just to eat here.
