Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

Forced husband to get me a chicken sandwich on national sandwich day. It was the relaunch of the viral chicken sandwich. It was crazy busy and customers were tense. Got our order in an hour. The chicken was good but it had an oily aftertaste. Not as spicy as I would like. Really huge sandwich. The hype has probably died down by now so it should be quick...like actual fast food.

I love my Popeye's, but unfortunately the spicy 3-pc chicken breast platter had a breast that was horribly dry. My dining companion's identical order's chicken breast was deliciously moist on the other hand. Rated Number 1 nationwide fried chicken chain, store managers should be more attentive to maintain the sterling reputation. The two chicken wings met my expectations, but the breast meat failed significantly. If jalapenos were available it was not evident as usually a large covered glass jar by the register announced their availability. The men's restroom was sufficiently clean. Condiment and plastic utensils were amply provided. The honey packet contents listed honey as well as corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup and sugar. Current ingredient trends have sharply reduced the presence of syrups. A reconfiguration is advisable. I love my Popeye's.

Went there around 10 am which is their posted opening time. An employee was standing outside explaining that they wouldn't be open for another hour because they were running behind. Still craving that chicken sandwich, we came back at dinnertime and were told that they were out of chicken sandwiches. They were also out of regular non spicy chicken. They seemed to have plenty of staff working, I'm not sure why they would be so unprepared for Saturday business.

I absolutely love this Popeyes! The cashier Hannah it's always very very nice! The food is always made fresh and the rest of the staff is always clean neat and lined up working accordingly. I recommend this location to anyone because it is worth the drive.
