Tucky's BBQ

I've been a customer of tuckys for awhile now and have brought many people with to try because of the great food. No complaints from and of my guests that have accompanied me. However this I have to share because I'm very disappointed with my recent visit. Unfortunately I will no longer eat here because of the cost. The food was good and people were great but $60 for 3 people to have lunch is way out of line in my opinion. I was shocked to later review the receipt to see I was charged $5 for fries that amounted to no more than a hand full in the basket with the sandwich. My guests also ordered sandwich meals as well. This is worth $60? Not in my opinion. Sorry tuckys but thanks for the good food but I wish you luck and bid you farewell. I gave 3 stars not because the food was bad but because I feel the prices have gone up way to far in my opinion. I did make a comment to cashier and was told prices go up every year about this time. Well I think you may have priced some of your customers right out of the door.

I ordered the 4x4(4 meats and 4 small sides) with the Andouille, Sliced brisket, double burnt ends, double the coleslaw, potato salad, collard greens(non-vegetarian) and a side of fried green tomatoes. The restaurant included two sides BBQ sauce, which was delicious! The burnt ends literally melted in your mouth, they were sauced and extremely juicy. This was much different than burnt ends I have had from other places that tend to be dry and jerky like. The brisket was tender and also melted in your mouth. The sausage was juicy and had a good snap to it. Collards were nice and spicy and a little vinegary. The potato salad was made with baby reds, which is my favorite kind of potato salad. The coleslaw was a vinegar based not mayo, which was a suprise. The fried green tomatoes were the best I have ever had! This place was super delicious and we will be back!

This place is amazing. I would rate this place a million stars if I could.
Their fries and pulled pork are amazing, along with their other foods.

Restaurant was very clean. Prices are good for the meals. We had the BBQ42 and it came with 3 meats, 3 sides and pickles and cornbreads (2). We chose brisket, chicken and burnt ends. Did not disappoint. We have been here before and will be back when we are in Henderson.
