Broken Yolk Cafe

I took my boyfriend here to show him one of my favorite breakfasts places. Our service was so friendly and speedy, and our food was phenomenal. The whole staff was welcoming as we came in and wore proper face coverings as well (during this time I thank anyone who does have face coverings while working!)
I’ve always had a great experience here but today I was floored with how amazing it was. 10/10 I will always recommend Broken Yolk!

Pretty good place! Walked in and was able to get a seat Immediately! They had lots of food and drinks to choose from! I dont recommend the "Vegas mule" it was not very good!
The food was great, huge portions and very much full of flavor! The service was really fast and the waiter was beyond great!!

Came here for lunch, party of 4. It was packed, and we didn't know what the wait time would be but gave it a shot. Got seated in about 20 minutes, not too bad.

Breakfast and lunch items, including alcohol if you're up for a drink in the day.????

Jonathan (Jon) was our server, he was great. Got our drinks as soon as we got seated, asked if we had questions about the menu.

Our order had adjustments made, and all of them came out perfect. He came around frequently to refill waters, tea, coffee, and condiments.

The food was very tasty. Their home fries was very unique, in a good way. Like a crunchy mashed potato French fry.

We will be back to try it again.

Very similar to a Denny's or something like that. I was expecting a Las Vegas breakfast joint, but this is a San Diego chain restaurant. The chicken fried steak wasn't very good. The service was great, and I am sure there would be some good menu options. The manager did take my meal off the bill, and that was very appreciated.

I would say if you go here just manage your expectations to chain restaurant type food.

Adequate clean space.ordered an omelette that was very flavorful. Ingredients we're fresh. Atmosphere was busy but not packed. Servers were attentive. The drip coffee was bland and tasted like it was left in the brewing pot too long. Hash browns was more like scalloped potatoes than the grated potatoes am used to.
