The food was tasty, the service was different. You can't get Kim Chee while you wait (like in LA). Here you wait till everything comes at once. They serve limited drinks, (no alcohol) no hot tea and only Pepsi products. Had the spicy seafood soup and the dumplings. Both very good. They also don't have noodles, so you need to read the menu exactly to ensure you get what you want.
Previously, I couldn't find a Korean restaurant that served meals in the manner of those in Hawai'i where I relocated from. A Korean waitress at one of the Station Casino's recommended Jun's on Eastern. We visited, and my wife and I were truly happy. Although a little pricey (we both ordered the combination plates). The servings were very generous and comes with two sides per person. (We had enough leftovers for dinner that night) Everything was delicious, but the true highlight for me was the short ribs, which is solely what I'll order in our next visit. By the way, the staff was friendly and attentive.
I truly enjoyed the food. The portions were generous and service was excellent. There was just one lady tending tables but she did a very good job keep my ice tea coming. I definitely recommend Jun's.
I loved their kimchee soup until they started shafting the portion size. They usually fill it to the top. Disappointed
