Visiting from out of town and thought we'd just hit a starbucks. My wife pushed for a less corporate feel, and so glad she did. Stopped by this place and received fast and friendly service. Great atmosphere. Delicious coffee and goodies. If coffee shops were religious figures, this place would be St. Jude, bringing prompt aid in moments of great need.
This is such a cute place such a Paris vibe so many cool things to look at while having a snack or a meal. The Danish are small but very good prices are not to high here so get 2. The food is well priced not very big portions though. The tables are small but big enough for 2 people. The macaroons sell really quickly so we didn't get to try any they have many flavors.
Stopped by here for breakfast on my way to work. Order at the counter then have a seat.
Food:
Regular Coffee
My friend ordered a chilled drink (?)
Build your omelette with bacon, mozzarella cheese, spinach and mushrooms.
My friend ordered the breakfast sandwich.
Eclair dessert
The cup of coffee was strong in flavor. My omelette was good. The serving is huge that I only ate 1/3 of it. It also came with some kind of hash and jelly for a couple pieces of baguette. The omelette was cooked to my liking and I was very pleased with the taste.
My friend also enjoyed her breakfast sandwich. The eclair was also really good. Not sweet at all which I like.
Overall, I'd return again and reccomend this restaurant.
I had visited this little cafe last year, and something must've changed. The food, while good, has gone down in quality. The flavours are less balanced than they were in the past, and left us wanting for that French touch. The savoury crepe I ordered was good, but the flavours and textures muddled together a bit. The pistachio macaron I ordered was too sweet, and I could hardly taste the pistachio in it. The texture was fine, though, and the chocolate almond croissant we got was great all the way around. Overall, cute atmosphere, but it isn't the same genuine little French cafe that I fell in love with the first time. I likely won't be coming back.
