Michoacán Mexican Restaurant

It started off pretty negative. My girlfriend and I made a reservation for a table, but when we arrived, there was nothing available. We were a party of five and initially they gave us a small table. But the manager arrived and offered us a bigger table when one became available. Because of the inconvenience, he comped our appetizer. The staff and our waiter was very helpful and accommodating. Another big plus is that they provided us with refills in a very fast manner. Usually when I go to restaurants, I have to constantly remind the waiter to get a refill. But they served refills without even having to ask. That was excellent service. Also, I was impressed with the music they played on their audio system. I have never heard Metallica's One and the Rolling Stone's Paint it Black in Mexican guitar.

Really good food. Salsa is a bit on the super kild side but I could have asked for spicy and I did not.

We brought home a takeout order and were a little disappointed. They forgot the chips. The soup was cold, not cooled off, but cold. The Chili Colorado was as good as usual except that a third of the meat was not edible, but gristle and fat. A little more attention to detail for takeout would be appropriate, had we been in the restaurant it would have been taken care of. Just one thing after another, plus I left a larger than normal tip because of the shelter in place order and feel doubly burnt.

Always a very pleasant dining experience. There wasn't the attention to detail for my food allergy as previous visit, but they were quick to make a new dish.

The food was fabulous! The beef taco is shredded beef and delicious. The bean and salsa dips are tasty. The salsa is spicy and the beans are smooth.
