I really wanted to LOVE this place but I found our food tonight completely underwhelming. The place is beautifully decorated with a huge menu, something for everyone even if they aren't vegan.
Huge fan of vegetarian food but every dish ordered was fresh but bland. And at $8 for guacamole, at least squeeze a lime over it. It just tasted like mashed avocado. From the tacos, to the rice and beans and unfortunately the starters nothing had salt or seasoning to it. If that's your thing cool but personally I like the flavors of Mexico over Mexican influenced.
Great 100% vegan restaurant with a gluten free menu. The tacos are absolutely delicious and even when I bring non-vegan friends they love the food. The margaritas are refreshing and I recommend getting bthr flight to try all the flavors.
I am not a vegetarian, but I do like to eat vegetarian for several of my meals in a week. I have to admit, I am kind of picky with the meat substitutes I get. Many of them just don’t taste good to me. I definitely did not have an issue with that at Tacotarian. There were two of us that got a combined 5 unique tacos, and they were all fantastic. The ingredients tasted fresh and flavorful, the shells were perfect, the beans and rice were a great complement to the tacos, and the salsa selection was unique. I will be back more than once, and I definitely recommend that you give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.
High quality vegan foods, reasonable prices, friendly staff. Ample parking on the street, and in general nearby. Chicken and waffles were surprisingly good, and prompted me to save half to enjoy later. There was a variety of different tacos to choose from, and they all sounded great. Crispy shell, fresh vegetables, good "cheese"... These are pretty tasty, and is definitely going to bring me back. Monkey bread was soft, sweet, cheap, and pulled apart as monkey bread should. I loved it. Iced Horchata coffee is the way to go. Do it.
Our bike-share team recently had lunch at this location. We were able to park our bicycles just a few feet from the entrance. Upon entering the front doors, you are welcomed by a fresh open space! The staff was very friendly and attentive. Personally, I ordered the flautas and my teammates ordered the tacos...we were NOT disappointed! I probably could have eaten three or four more!
