Another great experience. We celebrated my husband & our sons birthday tonight!!
Goat cheese marinara appetizer was very good, as was the salmon dish and chicken parmesan. The dinner salad was a bit skimpy, and the minestrone soup came to me just barely warm. I sent it back and it came back just a little tiny bit warmer. Otherwise it tasted pretty good. We had a nice evening. we could only smell the smoke from the casino a little bit. Our waitress was very nice.
On Sunday Dec 8 we had my birthday party at Bistro 57. 8 of us had a great meal and a wonderful time. Jamie and Vanessa took such good care of us. I had the veal chop and it was by far the best and biggest I’ve ever had. Everyone loved their meals.
Not our first time at the Bistro. A couple times a month we do appetizers and wine during happy hour (4-6).
Man, I tell you, you'd think the casino would figure out that service is the ultimate decider of whether you'll come back to a place like this. Food is right up there in the matrix, but I'm looking for a great experience and Bistro needs to step it up. I'm glad it's nearby, but with all the great places in Vegas to choose from, I'm not sure I'd take visitors back since it reflects just as much on me as them. We had a big group in the back, and while the atmosphere was nice (although having seen this location go through a number of name changes since it began) it hasn't been updated in a decade.
Bottom line, it'll do in a pinch, but I'll stick with with the steakhouse in the casino...or even the buffet.
