“So apparently this place is now called "Tamal Itas Restaurant" or Marielas at least that's what the menu hanging on the wall says. It has been under new ownership for the last few months. It's inside this flea market building all the way in the back left. I was hoping that the quality would be the same as when it was Freddy's and it IS! The owner is a very sweet woman who checked up on us multiple times. The freshness and quality was all there. The frying oil I could tell was not old so the flautas tasted fresh. I wish her the best and I recommend everyone stop by and try it.”

I was greeted by the employee I couldn’t read the menu because it was in Spanish there was no signage stating that there was a up charge for cheese for my tacos and using my debt card I paid $8.09 for tacos . The two tacos was good I feel like that price wasn’t worth it in my opinion.”

I appreciate the timely fashion that the food is prepared and delivered on time with great customer service . It's not your typical shop it's only pick up and delivery which is a little sad because I would stay at this place all day! The main event is the hot tamales, these things so dog on good! Everyone that knows anything about real southern tamales know this one thing... there hard to find. I'm ringing the alarm WE GOT ONE! So to wrap this up the food is bomb! It's located on the westside (my favorite side), the menu is excellent, I could eat this food every single day! “I got a couple chickens from Baltic Farms and it was a great experience. The chickens are very healthy and very well taken care of. There's a lot of breeds. The premises are extensively clean, the cleanest I've seen in the valley. The chickens are so plump and their feathers are so full, their colorings are beautiful. You can tell this is the owners passion. I'm happy to not have to raise chicks again. Its such a hassle. Getting chickens that are already trained as pets and are already laying eggs is amazing. I'm so happy I found this place it's the only place I'll get chickens from now on.”

“Went for dinner with my Mom and Brother as they wanted me to check this place out. What a great open, bright, clean restaurant. Service was fantastic and the food was very very good. The Mexi-Fries was a great combination of flavors. The flaming fajitas we ordered with chicken and steak was so fresh tasting not weighed down with preservatives or over seasoned. They were perfectly prepared and you can never go wrong with fresh homemade flour and corn tortillas. Looking forward to returning to this gem and if you are ever in the area I recommend a visit. It isn’t cheap to be honest, but it is fairly priced for what they have to offer, the quality of food and service.”

“The food was good. The sauces I got on my wings was good. When you walk in their are 2 register were you take your own order. The seating area is really small. But it really cute in the inside. You order in area and pick your food up in another area. The fries are potatoes cut. And the season they put on the fries is so good. They have 2 different seasons for the fries. It's really different and taste good. You gotta try it for yourself. Ask for your chicken to be fried hard if you like crispy”

“There were a couple of issues with my order which is the reason for my 3-star review. First, my order was incomplete. One dinner meal lacked collard greens and the other lacked cornbread muffins (Although each dinner came with 1 cornbread muffin, I opted to go with 2 additional cornbread muffins as a side). Paying money for not one but two items not received is a form of robbery. Secondly, the porkchops were brittle and dry. The catfish and plain chicken wings were succulent, seasoned to perfection, and delightful! The hotlinks were good as well. Each side stood alone in taste and spoke for themselves.”

“Its a decent place if I step off my high horse. Kidding... sorta. Personally, I think the beer selection is lacking. However, there's something for everyone even if its not their absolute favorite. The bartender was quick and friendly. Prices seem reasonable. It looks really slow for a Saturday night, but I'm not a Vegas local so I won't assume its always dead. If you're looking for a quick cold beer, food (get the red beans and rice), and bar top video poker, give this place a shot.”
