Absolutely, loved the food. I was here around 2 years ago and not at all happy. Well, praise God the food was amazing, the service was awesome and the staff was smiling this time. They get a 5/5 stars.

This is my go to soul food restaurant! My favorite is the smothered chicken and my husband loves the oxtails. Friendly service! It's always busy, which is another sign the food is good. I'll try to remember to take a photo. By the time I get home, I'm ready to dive in.

Cozy little place. Friendly staff. Had the fried chicken was really good. Lots of sides, the yams were delicious. Ribs were very tender. Portions are very large. Must stop if you like Southern cooking.

Long story short, I had to ask the server to take our order after sitting for 20 minutes or so. People who came in after us, their orders were taken before ours. As far as the food is concerned, it was excellent. I did have to get up and ask for a spoon for my black eyed peas, only received a fork. The server was nice, but we shouldn't have had to wait so long for our order to be taken. I've never received cornbread, guess I have to ask.

This restaurant is very clean, well organized but is small (not ideal for large parties to dine in; suggest take out or catering). The food is very good; they give you a cornbread muffin and drinks, to start, has you look over the menu. The waiter, Tim, was very professional, friendly and well informed about the menu items. I'd recommend the food, especially if you love/miss/crave soul food. The restaurant was pretty busy, but the wait was not too long.
