The service was great, greeted promptly upon arrival and was seated right away. I ordered the hash with country potatoes and toast. The coffee was nice and hot. I ordered a cup of New England clam chowder, I must admit it wasn't the creamy chowder I was expecting but it was still yummy. It was a slightly different variation, but still hit the spot. The place was clean, few diners and all seem pretty content. A good place to go for a nice quiet breakfast or lunch. Only opens till 3pm so get there early.
First time here for my first breakfast of 2020. The waitress was phenomenal. I ordered a meat lover's skillet with sunny side up eggs. The hash brown's seemed to be a mixture from a previous batch so they were half burned and half old. I'm one that very rarely reveal dissatisfaction with a meal so I tried to finish it but the overwhelming taste of burned potatoes was more than I desire to endure. It's kinda sad because I can see that it's a great place, but this one time lapse in quality has definitely lost a potential customer.
The staff are extremely friendly. The place is cozy and is cute to come get some breakfast. This place is a bit more expensive than other places. The food was hot and tasty!
We first experienced Lumberjacks in Susanville, Ca. We immediately liked the portion size and the country style plates. Biscuits and gravy and the sausage are very tasty menu items. The sausage patties are well seasoned and just enough country pepper spice kick. The coffee was mediocre and similar to darkened water, but the country home coffee mug was awesome!!
Biscuits and gravy are definitely recommended and the eggs and potatoes are country morning appropriate.
Finally! Got a go to breakfast in North Las Vegas. We had lumberjack’s specials, the Chicken Fried Steak with eggs, and the ham steak with eggs. I upgraded from toast to gravy and biscuits. Ham was exceptional as well as the steak. The eggs were just right. Finally, my go to at all new breakfast restaurants, the gravy and biscuits. They were great. I did hit a food wall(had to quit eating but didn’t want to), but not because the food wasn’t great. Service was also great and the $23 bill for the wife and I just put everything more over the top. Highly recommended, easily the best breakfast I’ve ever had in Vegas.
