Viva Zapata's Mexican Restaurant & Cantina

Nice Mexican restaurant with a full bar and pleasant atmosphere, although I purchased food to take back to my hotel. Very good chili rellenos!! This is one of my primary prerequisites in rating the quality of a Mexican restaurant, most fail this criteria. You might want to ask for your rellenos' sauce on the side. My shredded beef burrito was very good and a meal in itself! Their guacamole, sauces, and chips were very good too. Everyone was very friendly and service was speedy and top notch. My food was packed well in a nice sturdy bag with handles and came with plenty of extra sauce and garnishes; all the utensils you would need; and two unusually nice and sturdy napkins. I felt lucky to have been recommended this restaurant by my hotel's staff!

One of the best Las Vegas has to offer! Ask for the guacamole and they will make it right at your table. The food is excellent and the margaritas are made perfect. I would have given this place five stars if it weren't for the limited parking. So, if you're going there in a large group I would recommend carpooling.

Simple and easy to order. You literally pick what you want from the options they have. It's been a while since I've been to one and not sure if it's just this one but they have a ton of crust options. I went the stuffed crust route and I couldn't finish half of it. Got to say it was surprisingly good. They got a nice selection of beers both draft and bottled, kind of weird the Budweiser was on draft at a higher price vs the bottle, didn't matter I got the Estrella Jalisco.

The wait staff were prompt to take drink orders, take food orders, brought refills of chips, salsa, drinks, etc. as soon as they saw it was near empty. Being as busy as they were I was pleasantly surprised. Well staffed for how busy they were.

20 minutes after our order, maybe. I had a Cobb salad and my coworker order soup and a sandwich.

Clean, and enough on the walls to look around at to keep you busy if your not talking.
Noise was not bad for how many people were there. Able to have a conversation easily.

Food was delicious, exactly what I ordered, the chicken was hot and flavorful, the avocado was fresh and plentiful, generous portions.

Overall I was very pleased with everything at this location! A nice find. Worth the trip if it’s out of your way. I will definitely visit again.

LOVE this place! I have gone a couple times now and I love it! The staff is super friendly, clean cut, observant and is on top of things! Food is great along with the pricing! The atmosphere is beautiful and welcoming and both times I have gone they've had live entertainment! Will be going back and would recommend!
