“i went to subway yesterday at about 430 pm and i ordered a sandwich and a read headed guy, i think his name was matt, made me SUCH A GOOD SANDWICH !!!! i go to subway on the weekly and order the same thing usually, but this one was extra good, i was thinking about switching to port of subs, but after this experience, never again will i ever think that. he asked me how my day was and was really engaging to talk to, but he still stayed so focused on making the sandwich! he had the cutest dimples and i was having a rough week but this guy made my week. i walked out of the store so happy with my perfectly made sandwich, 10/5 recommend, but only the one by the minden rec center, i haven’t gone to the other ones as much”

“A truly excellent restaurant! All of our family love coming here for lunch or dinner. It seems Goff knows many of his customers by name. The food is always fresh, and delicious. My wife is gluten free and this is her favorite restaurant. Fresh spring rolls and chicken sate are the best! FIVE STARS!”

“Ok, I just visited mu local Jack in the box for the first time. The drive up window was friendly enough, but I had to repeat my order to her several times. As I finished, I saw it was still wrong on the screen and went ahead to the window where I corrected her mistakes. Food was hot and fresh and no complaints there. I will be stopping there again and update my post.”

“I usually go to Julio's once a year when my parents are vacationing there. I mention this so you understand the time gap. Despite this, when we sat down I already knew I wanted the risotto. It fully lived up to my memory and was worth changing the meal choice to have it. My chicken was good, don't doubt that, but the risotto is fabulous. It's a small, family restaurant with delicious food down to a complex house salad with flavorful tomatoes, or so my mother said, though it looked wonderful, and we enjoyed chatting with Julio himself as well. I don't often give five stars because it has to be exceptional. Julio's might have a simple storefront and while the prices are reasonable, even low, for the quality of the food, it's a little more than the storefront might lead you to expect, it's well worth going. Enjoy the risotto!”

“Curious place that locals love! Eclectic menu with pigs feet and sweetbreads offered. Lunch offers steak sandwich that's out of this world. It's a STEAK sandwich! If you get it with garlic...it comes with lots of GARLIC! But it is possible to enjoy sandwich without eating all the garlic served with sandwich. Best if you both order same thing! Reasonable prices. Next time will try Basque family style meal.”

“This restaurant and bar is really cool and with vaulted ceilings it had this big room aura about it. They have fried cheese bites on the appetizers menu and they are a must for your visit. Two full size bars on either side of the restaurant and gaming machines one side. The food never disappoints our family and is always a great spot to enjoy either inside or now that the weather permits outside patio is great too!”

“Always a great spot to stop for lunch, given it’s midweek. Service is always good and I highly recommend the Mango Iced Tea. Good vegetarian options but most include cheese so vegans might be in a pinch. Haven’t tried the desserts so I can’t speak to those but the sweet potato curry soup is amaze balls ????”

“This it the second time we've eaten breakfast at Woodett's when we've traveled the 395. It's worth the stop especially if you're really hungry because the portions are humongous! I ordered the biscuits and gravy with one egg and bacon and could only finish half. Husband had the Denver omelette. Our server was pleasant and attentive and my coffee cup was kept full. The menu has so much to choose from that there's something for everyone including several Mexican dishes. It's not a fancy place but it's obvious they put heart and soul into their food!”

The salsa for the chips was only so-so. Probably my only complaint, but it's definitely a tiny complaint. I will definitely be stopping here next time I'm on my way to Reno.”

“Great area location. Restaurant used to have great food, but when new owners bought the resort and head chef left and temporary the sous chef is doing the cooking. That leaves questionable when a good chef will return. Rooms are nice but need updating. Great hot springs which are natural and a nice addition to the experience of this area. Historic area.”
