Chef Cheng's Chinese Restaurant

Great food, could have had my root beer filled a little sooner but overall a good experience and excellent location.

Absolutely incredible Asian food, in the middle of nowhere. I was so impressed, I would say this was the 2nd best Chinese restaurant I have ever been to. The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned and cooked. This was an absolute surprise. I was expecting another awful hot lamp Chinese restaurant, when what I got was a cooked to order, gem.

First I must say the service was 👍 great, loved the teamwork here. I really couldn't tell who was my server because everyone was really helpful.
The food was good, I enjoyed the soup. I was hoping the rice came with the entree, I guess you got to pay for everything these days. Ordered two different dishes but they tasted similar. 🤷🤦I was confused!

Such a fun little gym out in the middle of Elko Nevada! I wish it was closer to home because we would definitely return frequently. Delicious food, large heaping portions, and incredible service that was served literally 5 minutes after we ordered! If you're doing the dinner for two, plan to take home half! Chow mein has yummy chicken chunks that could be an entree, and the ham fried rice is amazing.

Staff was very accommodating and friendly, and the inside of the restaurant looks nice and renovated.

Dinner for two was $36 which considering all we got was a great deal! If you wanted to pick just one or two entrees on the side each entre averaged $13 to $16.

We went to Chef Cheng's expecting to have a decent meal, but we were honestly impressed by our whole experience. Posted just inside their front door is their "Top 100 rated" poster, and they lived up to those standards. Good service, a calm friendly atmosphere, and simply awesome food truly rounded out our experience. Considering that we were only passing through Elko for the night, I can honestly say I'm impressed by the fact we found a true diamond in the rough.
