Silver Peak Bar and Grill Winnemucca

My favorite place when I'm in town. They have a great draft beer selection and a good variety of food choices. I'm looking forward to their patio opening in the summer.

Overall you wont love it, wont hate it, but I wont be going back. I got the burger and the "caramelized" onions were barely cooked and skill crunchy. The burger has almost no mayo on it and my fries were overdone. It was edible but not good. Other entrees at our table also looked poorly made and one looked microwaved to heck. The waitress was the only one and doing her best but the service was poor, its wasnt really her fault.

Yet another place that makes me wish the rating was in increments of half stars.

Ordered the Salmon Steak, which was cooked flawlessly, crispy skin, vegetables were cooked well, potatoes from scratch it seems, sauce seems to be composed of a mayo/cream, pickle bits and the pickle juice.

Ordered the Ribeye (Mid Rare); which looked promising both in menu and in person; vegetables and potatoes / gravy were great. I sliced into the steak and it was not cooked whatsoever, as in the center was cold. It appears it was previously frozen or maybe came from the fridge and slapped on the grill.

Here's where the place shines; the costumer service was Impeccable, they had two waitresses running back and forth STEADILY.

They replaced my steak with a burger which wasn't a fresh handmade patty, but it was still pretty good

I also had a Pomegranate Moscow Mule which was pretty big for a 10 dollar drink, it was also pretty strong whilst being able to be drunk easily

The women's bathroom was clean, men's was decent at best, had a urinal directly across from the toilet which wasn't maintained the best/ had floor moisture/damage.

A gem that is worth the stop off I-80! Delicious sandwiches — 4 in our party and all got different ones, all excellent. Michelada special was a treat. Excellent service. Stopping here for lunch made our day!

I have to agree with all the other 5 star ratings. The place is super clean, in fact they wet clean tables instead of the usual "wipe the crumbs on the floor". They were even cleaning the windows while I was there. The place is spotless. The staff are a 6 out of 5 and are super attentive and friendly. The food is actually very good as are the drinks. I would recommend visiting and I will certainly be returning as well. I was very impressed!
