“This place has the BEST pizza in town and the long line of people that you often see is proof of it. I should note that Google shows Roadies Pizza inside the north building but they actually operate out of the white trailer in front of Mason Valley Tires and sitting along Main St. That said, all their pizzas are 12" in size and there are a host of choices to choose from their Classic menu and Specialty Menu. But of course, you can always build your own as well. So far, my wife and I have ordered their Classic Rock (typical combination), their Epic Rock (meat lovers) and Indie Rock (vegetarian) and have LOVED them all! And, if you're craving something other than a pizza, they do offer a host of appetizers, pastas, salads and deserts, including a variety of desert pizzas! Because everything is made fresh, you should come prepared to wait but they do offer to take your number and call you when your order is ready so that you can do other things around town or just sit in your car while you wait. The last time we were here, the owner was nice enough to offer us some bottled water for free and just because. Again, I would definitely choose this pizza trailer over most sit down or even delivery joints, any day of the week and I would highly recommend it to you.”

“The restaurant is clean and comfortable. They recently had a price increase which is fine but the service needs to step it up and match the new prices. You can't charge premium prices with average service. I never got a free refill on my drink and it took awhile to get me my check and pick up my card. Overall I like the restaurant and food but when you move into the premium price range you have to be on top of the service.”

“This place was pretty good. We stopped on our way to Tahoe for a late lunch. They were polite and it was very clean. The food arrived quickly and was very tasty. “I ordered a to go meal, the Beef Chow Fun. $14 dollars. Overall, not too bad. Hot and filling, for sure. Enough food for 2 to 3 people. I couldn't finish it all, so I'll take the rest home. While it was good overall, it was not great. It was kinda bland. The soy sauce helped, for sure. When I ordered, I was told that it'll be ready in 5 minutes, and I arrived at 5 with the food waiting. The owner was very friendly and nice. I'll be back!”

The whole point of a drive through is to be convenient and having to turn around, get out of the car, and ask again for an appropriate amount of sauce is inconsiderate of my time. I hadn't been back in several years because of the limited food choices, but agreed to go with a friend and was very pleasantly surprised at the changes from almost all deep fried food to some delicious salads and a much more varied and healthy menu. “China Chef recently went through a change in management and I think it's for the better. They've definitely brother new life into it. The food and staff is great. Only thing I've noticed is that it seems that the menu items have changed in how they are prepared so an item you may have liked because it was spicy may no longer be spicy at all. But again I think that the new owners are doing a better job keeping the food and dining experience up. Another plus is that they now offer online ordering and payment. This makes it easier to place your order ahead of time especially if their phone is busy. This is a game changer. I can place my order before leaving work and then stop by to pick up. All in all, I really enjoy this place a lot more and highly recommend that you stop by to give it a try.”
