Came here as a last minute change of plans. Was a great decision. Service was super friendly. Food was delicious. I had the biscuit and gravy combo. Not a lot of places get this right, but they did. My husband had the Hawaiian burger which was delicious as well. Parking wasn't great but if you can get in there, it's worth it.
Great burger joint. Forget the fries and onion rings, and go for the Texas toothpicks. This was the first place I had had Texas toothpicks, and better than some other restaurant/ bar and grill that has them on the menu.
Good food, cheap, nice place, friendly staff
EDIT: I am touched the owner personally responded. I have decided to make the review longer
I showed up with a few friends who introduced me to the place. The staff was super fast to come out to us and give us menu's and get drinks started asap. We looked through and ordered, I got a burger with some fries, a nice mid day snack, the burger was cooked absolutely great, not very greasy, crisp, and flavorful. The fries were excellent, little crisp with a soft inside. Staff came out multiple times to ask if we wanted anything else and make sure we were all enjoying the food and if there was anything wrong. The were quick to take the bill and cash it so there wasn't a long wait to leave when we finished.
I plan to take my boss and family here sometime! I found a new favorite place to eat, this is going to be probably one of the best places to eat in the area, and it's not very expensive.
After being subtly uninvited from eating at a nearby restaurant by their "manager" who is a bully, I came to try something new. I was pleasantly surprised by Archie's. They were busy, the food was tasty, they had sports on TV, and they were well staffed. The wings had a great flavor, the beer was cold, and I can't wait to try the rest of the menu.
My favorite place for delicious american food. Nothing but pleasant experiences here. Bring your appetite because portions are generous. Feels similar to a restaurant in New York I liked.
