Good food, good service!
Staff is friendly now. Food is not much special. Is it good? It depends on you. It takes a long time to wait for your order even it's not a full house.
Fun place with a fairly varied menu. Won ton soup was surprisingly generous and filling. Chicken pot pie is deconstructed and delicious and the desserts are lovely, though ice cream is a little minimal for the price. Red velevet cake was quite good, but I think the milkshakes end up being my standard faves. I've always had great service, and considering the 24hr nature and often crowded, the waits are not unreasonable. It is good to expect a bit of a wait around typical mealtimes, and the food always tastes freshly made which makes the wait worth it. Never had concerns about the cleanliness, it can be a touch loud because of the location, but still more mellow than the casino floor nearby. Great for large groups!
The only reason I'm leaving 4 stars instead of 2 or 3 is because the last time i was there, the staff was friendly smiling and had personality. The food was amazing the 3 times i was there but the first 2 times, staff didn't smile or seem to have personality. They seemed bored and like customers weren't worth the effort. It felt rushed and i was extremely annoyed but the last time was amazing.
Okay so it's not the food. The food is just okay, but it's the people that serve you hear that are really the stars of this restaurant. I would like to give the five stars in this review to Jennifer, the hostess who served me this evening. She is one of the most kind, sweet and thoughtfull service workers that I've ever met. If you get a chance stop by here and say hi to her. Oh and have something to eat too.
