Best scotch selection! Awesome atmosphere
Had an amazing experience at this place. We went in for a drink and cigar; very relaxing! Ordered their buffalo chicken deviled eggs...OMG! Decided to stay for dinner and the shrimp scampi was the best ever! Service was exceptional, and the chef even came over and spoke to us about the scampi! Topped off the night with carrot cake and bread pudding...it was wonderful!
My new favorite place in Reno! Excellent place to enjoy great drink selection, delicious food, good cigars, and wonderful staff. Started my visit with the Home Means Nevada whiskey flight that features four locally distilled samples including one from Seven Troughs that is a recreation of Nevada's first legal whiskey. Enjoyed the Vintage Cheeseburger and (the highly addictive) potato fries followed by the carrot cake for dessert. All of the food was fantastic! Selected a cigar from their humidor and relaxed with that and a Revision Brewing IPA on draft. Chairs in the lounge are very comfortable and there are TVs all around the inside. Definitely will be spending a lot more time here!
Five stars for the excellent food and cool ambience. The drinks are a bit overpriced and it's hard to know what you'll get from just looking at the menu. It feels like the place is trying to hit every niche rather than specializing in what they're best at. It seemed odd to have gourmet food served in the same vicinity as a popcorn machine (think Les Schwab's waiting room) and an ATM machine. There are big screen TVs on every wall (muted) with country music playing. Between 7 and 8pm, there were only a handful of customers. I think the cigar bar theme limits the customers who will come and relax here. Doesn't bother me, but I may not bring business clients here unless I knew they wanted to light up. I would like to see a place like this survive, but it's just missing the mark in some areas.
