Classic Pizza Joint, good food, atmosphere and friendly staff!

So, stopped by for lunch and wanted a slice of pizza. Was told that by the slice, they won't give the toppings listed for their "specialty" pizzas on the menu. Slices were made with only 2 toppings.
Asked instead for the polish dog then. Was told they have been out of the dogs for 4 months and they won't take it off the menu.
I was simply unimpressed with it all. However, the pizza (I did decide to order with just the 2 toppings allowed) was good. So that's a plus.

I probably ought to give this place another star if only for nostalgia as this was one of the places I frequented back in my college days in the late 80's. The pizza is good but not as good as my memory but the honey for the crust was just as tasty as my memory said it would be. Price is in the higher side but then I no longer get the student discount and don't yet qualify for the senior discount. Great beer selection. Bring some friends and grab a long picnic bench and enjoy the conversion and food.
