Not usually one to go out of my way to write reviews, but this place has the best breakfast I've ever eaten in my life, and I genuinely don't think a more perfect biscuit exists. We got 2 biscuit sandwiches, as well as two biscuits with strawberry jam and apple butter and biscuit beignets for the road, and everything was 15/10 amazing. Extremely friendly and kind staff as well to top it all off. Can't wait to stop by again next time I pass through Reno!!
I've been here three times now and for me the product isn't worth the hassle. Small dining area, long line, bus your own table all for a pretty alright biscuit sandwich. Last time I went here I showed up at 12:30 and they'd decided to close an hour and a half early without posting anything on their socials about it. A place being closed when all their info says they should be open means that's the last time I attempt to go there.
They get an extra star though because I like this street better now than how it used to be before Pine State and Sizzle Pie showed up.
So happy I found this treasure. Homemade biscuits, bomb biscuits and gravy. With plenty of add on items to choose from. Or the brisket biscuit it was a great flavor play. Try a dirty hot chocolate.Be prepared for it to be busy on the weekends and close at 2.
When I get the need for a biscuit these are the kind I have in mind. Big and fluffy. The fried green tomatoes something else I love to get here. There good. Pine State has some wonderful options for a great weekend breakfast or brunch with family &friends gathering. 🙂yummy 😋
I just had the pleasure of meeting an employee who was proudly wearing his Pine State shirt, warming up his B&G and he offered me a Marion Berry pastry. The B&G smelled fabulous and the pastry was pretty damn good!
I am a big fan of B&G and my mouth has been watering since I smelled yours... but, it is very difficult to find truly good B&G. Either the gravy is too watery, or the biscuits are hard as rocks! So, I am looking forward to stopping by and having a taste!
C U SOON 2 UPDATE MY POST W/PICS!
