Anthony's Chophouse

Best steak around reno and california for me at least. Awesome servers and service. But it is a fancy ala carte steak house expect pricing as such. So far 3 solo visit I've spent with tips around 300 ish dollars.

We had a great meal at Anthony’s tonight. Our waiters Oscar and Joe were fantastic. We had three little ones with a very large party, and they were attentive, and wonderful. At one point the kiddos got a little loud, and I was trying to control them all. Oscar swooped in with some parenting magic, and closed off the doors to our room, and made us feel so comfortable and welcome, even with kids in a nice restaurant. Wonderful meal in a great Casino, being served by incredible staff. We will return, and I will try to get some of my work dinners scheduled here!

Anthony's Chophouse is just what the Nugget needed! My husband and I made reservations for NYE for our 8 year anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised by the appeal and ambience of the restuarant. First plus was the fact they carried Tahoe Blue Vodka, my husbands favorite. The staff were all wonderful! Art came by the table to open a bottle of wine and recommended the 24 layer cake for dessert. Our server Shelia did a wonderful job and so did her helper. We are excited for our next night out to Anthony's Chophouse.

P.S. the 24 layer cake is to die for, enough got 6 people!

Service started out terrific as we were greeted by the host, waiter, and manager.but the service went downhill from there. We had to ask for wine glasses to be filled, and although they were busy, not packed, they weren’t as attentive as the prices they charge. We had a nice server, but they just might need a little more help?.
Food was good, my seafood risotto was excellent, but the rest of the group wasn’t as impressed. I gave it a 4* because for the price, I didn’t think it was a 5*.
Great atmosphere in their restaurant, and menu choices we excellent, but there is room for improvement in their food and service.
