Oyster Bar

Fantastic seafood and excellent service. We came for a late lunch at 1:00 pm and restaurant was not crowded. Staff as friendly and efficient. Bread and driks were servd within 5 minutes of being seated. I ordered the combination seafood pan roast with a small dinner salad with shrmp and my companion ordered the linguine with white clam sauce and a bowl of Boston clam chowder. Everything was excellent and prepared correctly. For dessert we ordered the vanilla creme brulee which was good but not outstanding. However, this is a seafood bar and not a dessert house. Will definitely put this on my list of places to go for the next time I am in Reno/Sparks.

Oysters were large and fresh, the shrimp pan roast was very good. Bread was a little dry, almost tasted stale. The service was slow and a little awkward, we were served our appetizers and meal at the same time. Overall it was good.

The oyster bar is very nice little place to eat some seafood you got to try their World Famous Clam Chowder it is delicious I go there every time I'm down in the Reno and Sparks area I'll stop by and have some clam chowder

Favorite in Reno. Great atmosphere. Lots of history... Been there since 1971. Poor Man's Cioppino is the best.
